Tanji Bar - Bistro by Riad Monceau Marrakech

Fine arts at Tanji Bar

Fine art exhibitions at Tanji Bar Marrakech

Here at Tanji Bar we love fine arts. Isabelle Aubry the owner of Riad Monceau is an artist herself whose works – contemporary tapestries inspired by traditional Moroccan mosaïcs – are displayed throughout the house as well as in the finest fine art galeries in Morocco.

On spring 2016 Tanji Bar exhibits photographies from Ludovic Antoine. Titled “Rocks Stars – Berber country, an open-air museum” the  exhibition shows 7 original photographies that are part of a book to be published soon. Ludovic Antoine have spent several years photographing “akerkours”, little stone cairns that pepper the berber countryside and mean a lot to the Amazighe people.

The exhibition is introduced by a text from Ahmed Aassid, an eminent writer and philosopher specialized in the Amazighe culture at IRCAM (Royal Institute of the Amazighe Culture in Morocco).
